Former Lamar site gets revamp

The former headquarters of Lamar Advertising is undergoing major renovations. According to George Kurz of Kurz & Hebert Commercial Real Estate, who is marketing the building at 5551 Corporate Blvd. for lease, the facility was "getting to be a bit tired, and the new look will change its appearance both in and out." He says the upper floors have already been renovated, and the first floor is nearing completion. Ceilings have been raised, restrooms have been upgraded, and the common areas and tenant areas are ready to be finished according to new occupants' specifications. The lobby is being completely remodeled, with a larger, more inviting entrance. The exterior of the building is also being replaced. The building is being offered for rent in the range of $20 per square foot, including full service.
